The Beginning of True Woman Rising — Why Taking Risks Matter!
Oct 28, 2025
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” — Oprah Winfrey
This week, I pressed publish on the very first True Woman Rising posts — and in that moment, I realised something important: taking risks doesn’t always mean big leaps. Sometimes it’s simply about having the courage to start, and then to keep going.
For months, I’d been quietly building behind the scenes — writing lessons, creating worksheets, and designing something I hoped would empower women in midlife to rediscover who they are. My own journey sparked a passion for sharing what I’ve learned over recent years, as I step into my next chapter too.
Pressing that first post felt like stepping into the light. It reminded me that we grow not by waiting for perfect conditions, but by moving steadily towards our dreams — even through the hurdles we inevitably meet along the way.
True Woman Rising was born from this truth: that midlife isn’t just a midpoint — it can be the beginning of something new and deeply authentic. It’s where experience meets possibility, and where small, brave steps can create the biggest change.
🌿 Taking risks matters because it keeps us alive inside. It reminds us that we still have dreams, even when life has pulled us in a thousand directions. It’s not about recklessness, but about honouring that whisper within that says, “There’s more for me than this.”
Whether that risk is sharing your story, changing the direction of your life, becoming more authentic in how you live, or simply daring to believe in yourself again — every act of courage counts. Each one can be life-changing when you embrace it.
So, as I celebrate this quiet milestone — the launch of my passion through the True Woman Rising Community — I want to remind you: it’s never too late to start, and it’s never too small to matter.
Here’s to taking risks, trusting yourself, and rising into the life that’s waiting for you — you just have to reach out and grab it. 💕
